My journey to joy via gratitude. Looking for both ordinary and extraordinary gifts every day.
Welcome!
This blog is my response to The Joy Dare by Ann Voskamp, author of the book "One Thousand Gifts". Every day (hopefully) I will be recording three things that bring me joy, three gifts from God, three things that I am grateful for.

November 18, 2012: Passing on Joy
A gift made, shared, passed on:
Christ's sacrifice made on my behalf, remembered in his supper at church today
a long walk shared with my husband on a sunny fall afternoon
sewing lessons passed on from my mom to my daughter
Sewing lessons from a grandmother - yes. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting in my grandmother's lap while she sewed us matching night gowns. Lovely list.
