3 gifts extravagant:
- God's love for us. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1
- my parents' gift of time, energy, and copious doses of pain reliever to spend the weekend working on my son's house
- Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:1b-2
