April 25, 2012: The Gift of Familiarity
a gift cloth, steel, wood:
an ancient pair of jeans, faded to familiarity.
two bed frames, usually empty, now readied for a Sudanese refugee family arriving tonight.
an old nightstand in the refinishing process. A reason for my daughter to be home.
